 1 lb ground beef
 3 cups fine egg noodles
 1 6 oz can tomato paste
 2 ½ cups water
 1 1.5 oz package Schilling Spaghetti Sauce Mix
 1 lb ricotta cheese
 ¼ tsp basil leaves
 ¼ tsp garlic salt
  tsp white pepper
 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

In a large skillet, crumble and brown ground beef. Drail off excess fat. Add egg noodles, tomato paste, water and spaghetti sauce mix. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Combine ricotta cheese, basil leaves, garlic salt, and white pepper. In lightly greased 9-inch square pan spread ½ of the meat mixture. Spread cheese mixture evenly over meat. Spread remaining meat mixture over cheese. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in 425-degree oven 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Yield: 6 1-cup servings
