 5 green peppers
 1 lb hamburger
 ¼ cup chopped celery
 1 cup quick cooking rice
  cup catsup
 2 tbsp chopped onion
 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 ½ tsp salt
  tsp garlic powder
 Dash of pepper
 1 egg
 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
 1 tsp sugar
 ¼ tsp dried basil

Cut thin slice from stem of each pepper. Remove all seeds and membranes, wash inside and out.

Mix hamburger, celery, rice, catsup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, pepper and egg. Fill peppers with meat mixture. Place in square baking dish, 8x8. Cover loosely and microwave until meat is firm 10 to 12 minutes.

Mix tomato sauce, sugar and basil in 2 cup glass measuring cup. Microwave to boiling, 2 – 3 minutes. Serve sauce over peppers.
Yield: 5 servings
